Ocean freight enquiries can include Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh port arrangements with local transport. For door-to-port, port-to-door or door-to-door service, specify the pickup point, destination, customs responsibilities and final delivery address.

Compare sea, road and air freight

Compare total cost for the same service scope, rather than only the price per kilogram or container. Cargo acceptance and the actual route must be checked using shipment details.

What information is needed for a quote?

• Locations: pickup city or origin port in China, and destination port or full delivery address in Cambodia.
• Cargo: description, intended use, package count, gross weight, volume, individual dimensions and packaging.
• Transport: container type and quantity, or consolidation requirements; cargo-ready date and requested delivery date.
• Scope: pickup, export and import clearance, warehousing and final delivery requirements.
• Special conditions: disclose batteries, liquids, chemicals, temperature requirements or oversized items before booking.

If details are incomplete, send what you have and ask the team what else is needed. A preliminary estimate is not a confirmed booking price.

What is included in the freight price?

International freight, origin handling, clearance services, destination handling, taxes and delivery may be quoted separately. Check each surcharge note, including LSS, to establish whether it is included, additional or payable at destination.

Compare currency, container type, validity, sailing and included and excluded charges. Export and import clearance, taxes and final delivery are separate scope questions: clearance service alone does not establish that tax or last-mile delivery is included.

Use the freight-rate enquiry for reference rates. Space and final costs depend on the written quotation confirmed for your shipment.

Sailing time is not door-to-door delivery time

Delivery can involve pickup, loading, origin formalities, waiting for departure, main transport, import clearance, release and final delivery. A port-to-port sailing duration covers only part of this process.

Ask for the cutoff, estimated departure, estimated arrival and delivery arrangements separately. Schedules, space, inspection, weather and receiving conditions can affect timing. A reference voyage duration should not be treated as a delivery guarantee.

Check sailing schedules before booking. After departure, use the bill of lading or container number for cargo tracking.

From enquiry to delivery

1. Share cargo details and locations, and confirm acceptance conditions.
2. Agree in writing on the route, currency, quotation validity and service scope.
3. Confirm booking and cargo readiness, and prepare the documents requested for the actual shipment.
4. Follow transport, clearance and delivery milestones, including receiving arrangements.
